Cancellation Policy

Please give us as much notice as possible if you have to cancel. Cancellations made within 72 hours of scheduled arrival date may result in a full or partial charge. There are no refunds for no-shows or early check-outs. Pre-paid reservations will be charged a 4% cancellation fee. This covers the merchant services fee we paid the credit card company to process and then refund your payment. We do not make money off this fee–we are just breaking even.

Terms & Conditions

  • Special Spring Break Note to Parents: Do not think you will be able to book a room for your children and drop them off at this motel. We live right here. We will know. Unaccompanied minors will be removed from the premises and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.
  • Please note: The motel is conveniently located in the center of the Entertainment District….it may be loud at night.
  • All rooms are NO SMOKING/NO VAPING. You may smoke outside your room on the bench. Guests will be charged a $150 cleaning fee for smoking in a room.
  • Free onsite parking is available for one vehicle per room. We have 20 rooms and 20 spaces. Additional vehicles must be parked off the property. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed.
  • We are pet-friendly! Visit the “PETS” tab for more information.
  • Lost keys or keys not returned at check-out will incur a $50 charge.
  • Guest will be charged for the cost of repairs should damage be done to rooms or the property.
  • Room rates are based on double-occupancy. There is a surcharge of $20 per additional guest above two in a unit. Maximum 2 or 4 guests, depending on room type. NO UNACCOMPANIED minors on the property at any time.
  • Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. You must be 25 or older to rent a room. No unregistered guests allowed in the rooms.
  • The Seahorse Inn is not responsible for lost items.
  • The Seahorse Inn is not responsible for theft, damage, or any valuables left in vehicles on the premises.
  • Upon making a reservation, the guest/s agrees to the fullest extent permitted by law to protect, indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Seahorse Inn and New Smyrna Seahorse LLC from all claims, damages, losses and expenses caused by reason of any suit, claim, demand, judgment or cause of action initiated by any person arising or alleged to have arisen directly or indirectly out of the performance of this hotel.

Accessibility

  • Van-enabled parking spot with adjacent access aisle. Parking lot is level. Motel is one story and horseshoe-shaped. Rooms along the back (rooms 10&11, Deluxe Queens / and 12&14, Deluxe Kings) have no steps between parking spot and outside entrance. All customers who book online can call to request a particular room.
  • There are two steps up to the motel office. Concierge-style check-in is available. Just give us a call when you pull in!
  • Bathroom doors are 24″ wide. Bathrooms have walk-in showers, however, there is a 6″ tile threshold to step over. Shower chair provided upon request.
  • Platform beds accommodate patient lifts.
  • Photoelectric smoke alarm with ADA compliant strobe available upon request.
  • This building was built in 1956 and has not been renovated. Additional accommodations will be made whenever possible.
